Commentary for I Kings 20:43

וַיֵּ֧לֶךְ מֶֽלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל עַל־בֵּית֖וֹ סַ֣ר וְזָעֵ֑ף וַיָּבֹ֖א שֹׁמְרֽוֹנָה׃ (פ)

And the king of Israel went to his house sullen and displeased, and came to Samaria.

Dejected and angry. [Targum Yonoson rendered,] “aggrieved and sad.” His spirit turned [סר] away from him.
